SEASIDE IS HOME.
I am a proud third-generation Seaside resident.
This community didn't just give me a place to live.
Seaside helped shape who I am.
I know the pride we have in our city. I know the strength of our neighborhoods. I know the diversity of our families. And I know the challenges that many of our residents face.
Most importantly, I know the heart of Seaside.
It is the parent working hard to give their children a better future.
It is the senior who wants to remain in the community they have called home for decades.
It is the veteran who has given so much and deserves to know that their community has not forgotten them.
It is the small business owner who opens their doors every morning and invests in our community.
It is the young person who needs someone to tell them, “You matter. Your future matters. And we believe in you.”
That is the Seaside I love.
And that is the Seaside I want to continue serving.

SERVICE DIDN'T BEGIN WITH THIS CAMPAIGN.
For decades, my professional and community life has been centered around one thing:
Helping people move forward.
I have spent decades working with Amity Foundation in California's prison-based treatment and rehabilitation programs, including leadership in substance use disorder treatment and reentry services.
Today, I serve as a Regional Director with Amity Foundation, overseeing treatment programs within California's state prison system.
My work has allowed me to see people at some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
I have also seen what can happen when people are given accountability, structure, treatment, opportunity, and someone willing to believe that change is possible.
That experience has shaped how I understand public safety.
I believe accountability matters. I believe rehabilitation matters. I believe prevention matters. And I believe strong communities require all of them.
For 15 years, I also facilitated DUI education programs, helping individuals understand the consequences of impaired driving and make choices that protect themselves, their families, and their communities.
But my service has never been limited to my professional career.
I have continued serving Seaside through community leadership, affordable housing, youth development, and volunteerism.
Because for me, service isn't a position.
Service is a responsibility.
Listening to Seaside. Leading With Experience.
A FINAL WORD FROM ANNALISA
I have spent my life serving people.
I have worked with individuals trying to rebuild their lives.
I have supported families.
I have advocated for affordable housing.
I have encouraged young people.
I have volunteered in my community.
And I have continued to show up for Seaside.
Now I am asking you to walk with me into the next chapter.
Not because I believe I have all the answers.
But because I believe in the power of us.
I believe in the mother trying to make a better life for her children.
I believe in the senior who wants to remain in the community she loves.
I believe in the veteran who deserves to be supported.
I believe in the young person who needs opportunity.
I believe in the small business owner who is working to build something for their family.
I believe in the neighbor who cares enough to speak up.
I believe in Seaside.
And after a lifetime of service, I am ready to give this community even more.
Let's listen to one another.
Let's work together.
Let's believe in what Seaside can become.
